University of North Carolina at Charlotte
Cressell Spoo is a rising senior at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She majors in Psychology with a minor in Religious Studies. After obtaining her BA in Psychology, she would like to go to graduate school for either Community Psychology or something similar.
Among Cressell's many accomplishments and endeavors, they include various volunteering opportunities at the Durham Crisis Response Center, which is a domestic violence/sexual assault agency; community spokesperson for Psi Chi; plus, a member of the UNCC University Honors Program. She even worked as a DJ for two semesters for Radio Free Charlotte, UNC Charlotte's digital radio station.
Cressell's interest in working with children stems from wanting to help the community population, whether in Charlotte, Durham or elsewhere, in the hopes that helping one or more individuals will create a ripple effect for that person's family, their loved ones, and the community they are a part of.
